This is not an HR job.

We have people for payroll, benefits and paperwork. We need a talent hunter: someone who finds strong sales reps, office staff and subcontractor crews before they’re looking, reads people well, and tells us no when a candidate isn’t right.

You’ll report directly to the CEO, and your judgment on talent is the job. Build our recruiting function well and this role grows into a seat on the leadership team.

What you’ll do

  • Own hiring for sales reps, subcontractor crews, installers and office roles across three markets.
  • Split your time: half screening every incoming resume quickly, half headhunting, tracking down qualified people who never applied, at competitors, in other trades and through referrals.
  • Run first-round screens and build a scorecard for each role with the hiring manager.
  • Track who stays and performs after the hire. Keep a bench of strong people warm.
  • Your bonus rewards people who stay and perform, not just seats filled.

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years of agency, staffing or full-desk recruiting.
  • Placements you can name. Experience hiring commissioned salespeople or skilled trades.
  • Comfortable on the phone all day. Persistent, direct, and good at telling a great candidate from a good talker.
  • Not required: an HR degree, SHRM certification, or benefits and compliance experience.

Pay & benefits

$70K to $80Kbase salary
$100K to $120Kfirst-year target with bonuses
Per-hire bonusespaid at 90 days: $1,000 per sales rep or crew, $750 per other role
  • Bonuses paid at 90 days for each hire: $1,000 per sales rep, $1,000 per subcontractor crew, $750 per other role, plus $1,000 for each sales rep who hits their ramp target within six months.
  • Health insurance (company pays a portion), 401(k), supplemental insurance.
  • Full-time, in person at our Fort Worth HQ, Monday to Friday.
